Brian D'Arcy James (Freddy Benson) most recently originated the role of Brendan in the Broadway production of The Lieutenant of Inishmore by Martin McDonagh.  He received a Tony nomination and Drama Desk nomination for his portrayal of Sidney Falco in the Broadway production of Sweet Smell of Success.  Other Broadway credits include Titanic, Carousel, Blood Brothers, Les Miserables (national tour).  Brian’s solo performance in The Keen Company’s production of The Good Thief by Conor McPherson garnered him an OBIE Award as well as a Drama Desk nomination, Outer Critics Circle Nomination, Backstage Garland Award, and LA Weekly Award. Additional Off Broadway credits include The Lieutenant of Inishmore (Atlantic), The Pavilion (Rattlestick), Flight (Melting Pot), a star turn in the City Center Encores production of Pardon My English, Manhattan Theater Club’s The Wild Party (Drama Desk Nomination), Ancestral Voices (LCT), Public Enemy (Irish Arts), Floyd Collins (Playwright’s Horizons), Irving Berlin’s White Christmas (San Francisco and Los Angeles companies).  Film and Television credits include: “Rescue Me,” “The Education of Max Bickford,” “Kennedy Center Honors,” “PBS Great Performances: Rodgers and Hart,” Neurotica, Exiled, Sax and Violins.
